Volume 1 (1848) - Country Parson; Life and Remains: The Remains of that Sweet Singer of the Temple. Some wear, top of spine has some tear and fraying. Cover has some scuffing, shelfwear, and signs of use. Clean interior with minimimal foxing.

Volume 2 (1844) - The Temple and other Poems: Sacred Poems and Private Ejaculations (Third Edition). A tender volume, still bound. Mostly clean with mild foxing and slight tanning of pages. Spine shows signs of shelf-wear.

George Herbert (1593 – 1633) was an English poet, orator, and priest of the Church of England. His poetry is associated with the writings of the metaphysical poets, and he is recognised as "one of the foremost British devotional lyricists."
