Written just 9 years after the revolution ended, this is a very early, desirable copy of an earlier period of America. Scarce and Collectable. Front board has cleanly detatched and needs rebinding, but back cover and body of text are well bound and in tact. Some tears along end paper. Leather bound boards are worn, with edgewear, bumped corners, rubbed and thinning edges, some tape residue along front cover from poor restoration attempt. Pages clean from marking excepting previous owners signature on front end paper and title page, both from 18th or 19th century. Pages lightly toned, with some rippling and foxing.
