This study as made to determine some of the contributions of motion pictures as aids to the teaching of American History at the senior high school level. The Chronicles of American Photoplays were used, and nearly eleven thousand students in twenty-eight classes were involved in the experiment.

Illustrated with tables and charts as well as detailed notes. This book has a small stamp on the endpaper from the Office of Miltary Government for Bavaria Information Control Division. This interesting book is extremely scarce. On the date of publication I found no mention of it elsewhere, although there is a similar titled study by a different author done at a later date.
